·        Information on writing a will, medical power of attorney, adoption laws, inventories, how to set up a home business, and much more is available free of charge.

·        The Library serves as a polling place for all national and local elections.  The library staff has been trained by the Secretary of State’s Office to register new voters.  Three days of registration were held at the Library.

·        5,000 Federal tax forms were distributed.  3,000 WV tax forms were distributed to residents.

·       Tax assistance was offered free of charge to elderly and low income individuals.

·        Classes explaining the tax stimulus were offered.

·        A total of 1,748 children and adults attended the annual Summer Reading Program.

·        Princeton Public Library is a part of the community.  The staff participates and provides activities for the community including the annual “Celebrate Princeton” Street Fair.

“Open the Door to Tomorrow” Capital Campaign!

Princeton Public Library Project

After years of planning, community leaders and citizens of Princeton and the surrounding area have launched the Open the Door to Tomorrow Capital Campaign to convert the beautiful and historic Princeton Post Office to a new and state-of-the-art Library that will serve the entire area.  The project is slated for completion in 2009 at a comprehensive cost of $4.1 million.  For more information on how you can become a part of the future of Princeton, please contact:
