At the Princeton Railroad Museum, you'll discover the colorful and dynamic heritage of railroading, the industry that built our nation.  You'll find vibrant railroad art, fascinating exhibits and a remarkable array of railroad artifacts that tell the story of the men and women who worked on the railroad.

Devoted to preserving and interpreting the broad impact of railroad development on society, the Museum:

  • Displays over 100 railroad lanterns from the Ken Coleman collection.

  • Pursues an aggressive restoration program of artifacts.

  • Houses exhibits of railroad material relating to both the Virginian and the Norfolk & Western rail lines.

  • Recognizes that railroad history is alive and continues being made in this millennium.

The Museum is a replica of Princeton's Virginian Railway Station which was built in 1909 and demolished in 1979.
