u     The Princeton Park and Recreation Department’s main function is to provide recreational programs and activities for the citizens of our community.  Our department staffs four full-time employees, including a Director, Assistant Director,  and  two  maintenance  personnel.  We  also  staff approximately 10 part-time employees, and an additional 18 seasonal employees for park maintenance and pool operation.  Our department is open for business seven days a week.

u     Our Department also provides the community with numerous venues to enjoy leisure time. During the past fiscal year, through grant funding, our department completed the construction of Knob Street Playground. We installed playground equipment, resurfaced the basketball court, paved a walking track, and constructed a picnic shelter.  Our other facilities include:

 

 

 

 

 

 

  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

u    The mission of the Princeton Park and Recreation Department is to provide a variety of recreational activities for children and adults of all ages.  We are proud to offer the youth of our community a safe and fun environment to learn and participate in organized sports. We intend to maintain the value of good sportsmanship and encourage positive behavior at youth sporting events.
